I have a 63 and that sir, is no 63. Well I really don't know but my 63fst has FJ25 type doors. Do your seats slide back and forth without a wrench? My serial is something in the 14xxx range. Something like 2fj4014xxx.

I beg to differ. But then again, what do I know?!

Well...how can I say this...you don't have a '63...

The number 2 at the beginning of your vin makes yours a 1962 model. Looks like yours was build about 9 to 10 months earlier that the FST in this thread...so a guesstimate of summer's end 1962 build (near the end of the '62 production) that most likely sold in '63, which is why it was probably titled as such.

The '63 in this thread was built near the end of the '63 production...or as my best guesstimated math tells me, so it is very possible that Toyota ran out of the older tubs, and started using the newer tubs for a couple months before the '64 model started. Would be cool to find another '63 in this same vin range of the '63 in this thread...so that we can compare them.

Just a bunch of useless info for ya...this is what happens when it's 2:30 AM, and I can't sleep...
