Any concerns with lifting a 91 JDM? (1 Viewer)

Hey all,

I'm looking at getting a lift at some point for the cruiser. Nothing crazy, just a normal lift to get a bit more clearance, replace old springs/shocks, and hopefully improve ride quality a bit. I've found plenty of threads to read about all the various options out there, but i feel like most of the stuff here relates to LHD US market 80's. Does anyone know of any problems I might run into if I follow those threads while tackling a lift on a JDM, or is it all pretty much straight forward just mirroring the driver / passenger sides?

The vast majority of the suspension systems available for the 80 come out of Australia. Think about that one for a second.

That’s what I was thinking, since OME is from there, but I didn’t want to shell out for a system that was useless for me because of my own ignorance.
