funny how many are "barn finds"
Yes it is funny??? How does this happen? Do people just stroll onto someones property and say "oh don't mind me, I'm just looking for old Land Cruisers" Got any hiding in your barn? Great way to get shot at I would think. Although when I'm on a rural country road, I do look out for them.
I can't say I've found "barn finds", but I do find them out behind garages, barns, under trees, when you start looking when traveling back roads, it's fun what you find.
Wife and I were joy riding/ sunday driving today some roads we'd never been on and found a late 60's 40 on blocks. knocked on the door, no one home. snooped alittle, no banjos music, so I felt safe, left a note on the front door of the house. I'll stop by next summer and check in again.
Yeah, I'm always looking into old farm buildings and such that have huge open doorways(barndoors) as I'm cruising by, haven't seen one yet but if I ever do, I'll sure be knocking.
