Injectors got here a little late but it is ready to set in tomorrow. So hopefully Friday night I will have it fired up!:bounce:

Good thing the kids named the truck "Blue Bell" - you even painted the cold start injector pipe blue! :D

Hey did you remember to cut the fan shroud in half? Please do this now---it will save me some hassle later down the road.

I figured I would leave it whole so you could bust yer knuckles later trying to change a belt:grinpimp: And yes I chopped it off already just need to get the clips mounted to it.

And your kids have ESPN or ESP cause they knew I would get a hold of the truck.

Damn, lets pull the 3FE on my FJ40 and drop this one in! It still amazes me that the PO of my 3FJ40 did not clean up the engine before he dropped it in, it's just a little extra time and effort - and it makes the whole project look great! ;)
 
i still think the fan would look good pink...
 
I thought pink shrouds were only for LX450s??? :D :D :D

I kid, I kid...I'd be happy with one (an LX450 that is)

pROGRESS

OK guys I know I am a little slow this week must be that PITA day job. But here is what happened since yesterday and this morning.

Got the bumper off. Had Bondo Joe on hand to help out. The bracket took a good hit so after some persuation it came around. Also are a couple pics of the engine going in.

A couple more of the engine going in. I am working on getting all the hoses and electrical hooked up. Then I will start on the front end. Also the pretty new bumper is in there too. So it is a good day at the garage. As soon as I get this done then off to the exhaust shop. and ML gets his engine in.:bounce:

OMG - you painted the dizzy cap blue, Michelle was just looking thru this thread with me and she is crying because she was laughing so hard! :lol:

WOW looks great! I bet ML is excited! Tell Mr. Bondo, I owe him a beer next week. :beer:

Looks as if Iam headed to Dallas sometime next week!
 
Well the weather today sucks!! Cold and rainy. Good thing I finished most of it yesterday. Just need to run a tranny cooler and check fluids and I should be ready. Here is what I did last night.
