Has anyone installed a 5.7 gas Toyota V8 engine in an 80-Series?

IIRC Slee Off Road has installed a ?4.7 more than once, they might be a good starting point to ask questions about a 5.7 swap??

I thought the physical dimensions (width) were a limiting factor…… plus the lack of any adapter support. Will be a custom venture for sure.

Joe drifter has a non conclusive thread of one going into a 40

Uzj40 has a current thread with project nearing completion of a 5.7 in an 80 chasis and 40 series front clip. Make one think it could fit under the hood of an 80 too maybe
