I'm on board with Nolen on this one. 4:11 take outs from a 62 are easy to come by. Swaping the front to the rear means you have pretty new gears in the rear end. You can do this as part of an axle refresh.

SUA lift, body lift, trim and 35's with some real deal gearing like a 203 doubler. You'd really have someting IMO.

I still am thinking SOA. The 4.11's are probably going to happen but was told that Jackson Powertrain would install ring and pinions for cheap with a greenback handshake.


Those are the best doubler threads I have seen as of yet.
 
Maybe instead of lower gears, you could just run smaller tires:confused:

As soon as I get the fuel issue resolved I will be ready to go at it.
 
cheapest way to fit 35s is a F'n Sawzall !!!! i got 2 lets do it !!
 
That is what I have except it came from Cruiser Outfitters. Just pulled the receipt, I have $65 in it all from them. I thought it was more. Sorry. $60 to you. Kingpin bearings free if Del comes to pick it up.
