Considered having Marcella build a custom or buy a Frankenstein LowPro for the angry pig to fit under the over the top of the engine headers I run.

At the end of the day for what I do with that car the GM engineers got it good enough and I stuck with the factory intake.

Don't hate me, hate the guys that led you to believe that intake was made by skilled labor
We deal in streetlight and signal poles, used to be 100% locally built, always had a problem every couple of jobs...now 99% of these poles are stuffed in a container and shipped over, would you believe the quality has gotten better!
So if Ming and Wing are sitting there doing TIG for 12 hours a day I’m sure there are still production issues BUT it may be better quality than you are expecting.

My $0.02

Oh. Yeah sheet metal intake for the win!

Sexy 🤑

Great thread. Just sitting on couch laughing.

Those are some beautiful intakes. Too dang expensive and unnecessary for the 5.3L vortec that I want in my piggie. Just planning on going boring old stock. I'd be more inclined to put $ into the NV4500 tranny. They have a lot of nice upgrades of the input shaft and cryo treatments of the gears. But even spending that $ is unlikely as I'm already approaching $5000.
