Mind sharing your list of demands?

It looks great in those photos and if it holds up at all seems like a great finish for a driven 80. Congrats!

might have missed it but how much $?
Quote was $2400 but they forgot my military discount so I got out of there a smidge over $2K. They patched the flare holes and also one rust spot behind the wheel included with that. The paint is not going to win any shows but if it lasts several years I’m fine with it.

I am especially proud of how the hatch turned out. Was able to save the gray trim and transfer it. All the connections buttoned right up and everything works, including the brake light, wiper, and defroster.

Back together.

Roof is buttoned up now. Deleted the rails - rail holes siliconed with rubber washers - but kept the ribs.

Sound deadener. In retrospect I would not have done this. I think the "mass-backed" carpet plus mat is enough.

I have either read on Mud or been told that these three plugs in the middle of the console are for seat heaters and possibly a JDM console refrigerator? Can anyone confirm this? While everything is out I may as well put in seat heaters. Is there a plug and play solution out there? I know almost nothing about electrical.

Yes, you can purchase vertical OEM seat heater switches that plug directly into those harness connectors. The switches mount into the lower two coin-holder positions in your center console. The wiring is also present under each seat in the harness, except the plugs are missing two pins and you need to also splice in a ground. You can get OEM pigtails that snap into the missing pins and wire them up to a standard aftermarket seat heater elements. It's a nice clean install that preserves your ability to remove the seats by disconnecting the OEM connector.

I referenced a few MUD threads to figure out the wiring. This is one of them. Don't have time to find the others for you at the moment.
