More than enough range to make your ass numb. :)

Did you ever get 90 litres into a tank? I think the best I ever had was about 86-87. I got 1300klms out of them once and they still had a bit left

I never trusted the fuel gauges enough to push it. While I owned it I never drove the Ute more than 6 hours at a time and even then I split the drive equally between the two tanks.

I see a potential issue with the speedo overlay. Since it is in MPH only that infers that the odometer is also miles. I would prefer an overlay such as the face of the Canadian speedo as it indicates kilometers over miles.

Everyone has their opinion I am sure but to me it is just too busy, I do not travel to Canada or any other place with posted speeds listed in KPH so it is not an issue to me. I will also be more than happy to inform the next owner, if I ever decide to sell, that the distance is in Kilometers, not Miles and/or just remove the overlay prior to getting rid of it.. I am not going to make any more of these so anyone who likes can just take the ball and run with it.

I think everyone is "overthinking" this issue. When it comes to diesel Cruisers I use the much simpler RED / Orange
method for determining speed. Example above .....

When you go to sell it, you sure don't want to drive in kilometers and then sell in miles.
That's a huge difference that is important!
Cruiserdan has it right, the Canadian way, eh!

You're going to love the Webasto, in case you haven't fallen for it already.

Which Espar model did you install? Did you do a install thread in the diesel section?

I even remember making the comments about the exhaust now. Sorry. The webasto I have can be run continuously
even when the engine is running. Was wondering if the espar can run continuously as well.

I teed mine right from the fuel line just before it reached the fuel pump. I used the T block, and it has never had any issues
effecting the truck engine. The main line goes straight, the heater source line is the one that goes perpendicular.
Many people I know of run their webasto continually during really cold weather operations
The webasto is very particular about fuel flow, so they specify a particular plastic line. In my photos you can just see the
plastic line which I protect by running it inside a section of rubber fuel line. I also run my ARB plastic air line inside rubber
fuel line for protection.

Espar, okay; the little control panel looks exactly the same as for my Webasto.
