That Ute was already set up to handle the cold Winters in Southern Georgia.
I did, not camping anymore this winter so put it back on since it looks a lot betterI thought you had removed the rear canopy.
I can't remember if Charlies ever did.Didn't it have some tidy looking canvas on the sides once upon a time?

Partial canvas ....
I had a couple of older Land Rovers (1960's) with full canvas tops and I was never comfortable with the lack of visibility thus the partial canvas on the Ute. It provided shade and that was about it.Must have been someone else. I had canvass down to the sides on my 75 ute. It was very handy ,it had zips and windows made of mosquito mesh. Great for sleeping in
Did find a bit of corrosion on the locking hub parts on the right side. Will have to see what options there are for replacements.
I can see if the rust keeps growing that it could eventually affect the sliding in/out. And I hate rustWhy do you need replacements

I've only had this truck about 6mo. Don't know how long they have been rusty. I don't think the previous owner would have done much deep water fording when he had itYou don't keep them ensconced in grease?
Looks like stainless, don't know what kind. Previous owner installed these.Do you know what material the dome nuts are on the outer of hub? Stainless? Zinc plated?
If they are steel ZP do you know if they are HT? Thanks.
