I like your new aluminum rad! Thinking about one of those myself, as my OEM one is starting to get a bit tired.

Sounds like you've beat the over heating issues you used to have. Are you still running Evans Coolant?

yep, keep forgetting to write them to ask for some test strips to make sure it is correct.

are you asking about the bed?
yes the bed, sorry just found it !
Re: fish oil, Rust Check sells a product in a spray can that I think is pretty good, I've used lithium white grease in a spray can to use in the same manner, usually in all factory holes in body panels like the hood and doors, frame and just coating surfaces down to give a protective layer. My thoughts are that if it is covered in some kind of oil then thats better than nothing covering it !

So, I have had a lot of white/gray smoke on start up after sitting for over 6hrs. This even in the summer and when parked in the garage (60-65F). It kind of had a fuel smell to it as far as I could tell. So, about 3 weeks ago I removed the injectors and had them tested.
110 bar 110 bar 118 bar 108 bar 109 bar 102 bar.
So, I had the shop rebuild them. They replaced the nozzles and did what ever else they do on a rebuild. Set all to 125 bar.
So, after I got it started just to make sure there where no more leaks, I let it sit overnight and started it the next morning and the cloud seemed to be even bigger :-(
So, I got a compression tester to test the compression, but I think the gauge is messed up since the needle would not behave like I am assuming it is suppose to work like I see in youtube videos on how to do compression test. So, will need to find another tester.
It will not start without glow plugs even after sitting in the garage at 60F-65F.

So, continuing to try and find out the source of the smoke on start up. It smokes pretty good for at least a minute if not longer, then after the big cloud goes away it continues to have light smoke at idle. Next I did a compression check.
420/420/410/400/400/420
I'm guessing no piston problems or head gasket?
Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

Do these have valve guide seals? They are good numbers.

Do you have an ASCD mechanism on the side of your injection pump? Sounds like it's over injected on startup.

ACSD are only found on some 1HZ and 1HD T. It was an emissions requirement on those models.

I hope new ones where installed. I was not involved with the rebuild.

I went and looked at HJ45 with a freshly rebuilt 2H a few years back . It had this constant wispy blue smoke at idle. I don't think there was much smoke when you revved it. Supposedly rebuilt by its mechanic owner who I couldn't speak to at the time.

So, been trying to figure out why me espar coolant heater keeps throwing a over temp code. Seems like it will run when engine is running so thinking there is some blockage or obstruction but could not find any obvious, except that’s I could not tell what shape the original heater core was in. So since I had a spare heater box from a lhd lj-78, I took it out and looked it over and ran water through it and seems to be in good shape so decided to swap this one with the original. Before tearing into the dash I also replaced the old foam used on all the doors in the heater box.

Just was going to ask if you had a coolant heater. What model espar do you have?
Did you install yourself?

got the espar d5 12v. yeah, I installed it myself. the frustrating thing is I used the old one on 3 cummins dodges that I had over the past 7 yrs. so then I installed it last year on my -75 and it worked good all winter, then spring it kept failing and triggering a code, can't remember what code though, but different from what I keep getting now. So, I had the local dealer give it a overhaul over the summer and then installed it again, and kept getting a new code, so been thinking it has something to do with an obstruction, but can't find anything. So, I bought a new one and installed it and it is throwing the same fault code. Need to do a fuel delivery test.
