I like the wheels, but that's way too much tire ...

Nice! Lets see so pics with it on the ground :) I have 35" Toyo AT2s, and I was thinking of switching to the KO2s in the same size. I've had very good luck with KO2s on a prior vehicle in the 37" variety, and they were quieter and lighter than my AT2s.

Like the wheels, can you take the brand name of those?

And how are you able to keep the front flap and rear flap with those tires?

I had to take the front ones off mine due to rubbing with my 33" Ko2

simple, he doesn't turn the steering wheel:)

We were test fitting these on the 200 Series. The wheel tire combo is actually for a Tundra, hence the 35"

So you are not leaving them on your 200?

While they were on the 200...did you manage to test them at all for rubbing? It would be rather shocking if they did not rub pretty severely on flaps & perhaps controls arms and elsewhere...

? Would love to hear if/how that went.

That 200 is mine :)

He just mounted them on the truck to see how it would look.

He said the load limit is 3000 lbs thanks to @gaijin I've been keeping the 2500 lb stock wheel limit in my mind

They can also order a 45 offset. I'll definitely be buying these sometime down the road.

Just to be clear, I pointed out that the stock P285/60R18 tires on the LC200 are spec'd at a Load Limit of 2,512 pounds by Toyota. All this means as far as wheels go is that they should be spec'd for at least that. I do not know what the stock wheel spec for load is, but my best guess is that it is more than 2,512 pounds.

Where are you finding that 18 inch OEM 200 land cruiser wheels have a loading rating of 2515 lbs? Not doubting, but just curious.

I just checked into an aftermarket set for the LC and the manufacturer said 770 kg or about 1700 pounds.

I saw where in one of your post the other day you had mentioning the 2515 lb OE Wheel rating.
It never really made much sense to me why anyone would be concerned about such a minor difference.

I certainly wasn't sweating the 2500 rating that the wheels I just bought had, since there is only 1/2 of 1% 0.006 difference between 2500 lb rated wheel vs 2515. I have been trying to contemplate just what sort of real world circumstance could there possibly be , that could cause a 2500 pound rated wheel to fail that would not also cause an OE 2515 pound rated wheel fail given that same real world circumstance.

I was also thinking it could be entirely possible, not really sure, but the aftermarket could just be using a rounded off numbers where Toyota is using a very precise number

And just think about it a moment ... Toyota designed a wheel/tire system that has the tire component spec'd at a Load Limit of 2,512 pounds - does it make sense to pair that with the wheel you researched that is spec'd at <1700 pounds? That would mean that the wheel/tire system would have a Load Limit of the weaker component, <1700 pounds. With a rear GAWR of 4,300 pounds, the wheels would not even be able to safely support the static load of a fully loaded vehicle - add live loading of hitting a pot hole, etc. and you will have created a recipe for catastrophic failure.
