I made my own from an ammo bag ($50), a scrap piece of wood, and 2 camp coffee mugs! I bolted the scrap wood where the old console was and screwed the bag and the mugs to the wood. Easy-Peasy.

I have this one in my 60, but I have a 62 rear heater under it. So it's a little different.
I really like the console, combo lock is great, I think it's a great layout design. It took a little modifying to get it to fit right.
I’ve got a 62 console in my 60 but the heater is still under the passenged seat, but discconeted and needs to be removed.
Seems to be worth the money for me.

Is this a cruisercrap center console? I wanted to put one in my 60 but wasn't sure if it was for the 60 or the 40?

As an FYI on the 60 the I just had to redrill the mounts and used the stock hardware. On the 62, you would have to make a rear mount. Though be easy enough with some flat bar bent.
Sorry for the pics, i shot them fast, the cruiser is rather dirty on the inside right now.
Although glad I took that rear shot as it looks like I need to adjust the front seat cover.

It can be done. There is some modification to get the front bolted down.
I have a 83 (early floor pan) FJ60 with a 62 rear heater. I mounted the cruisercrap console on top the 62 heater. It took drilling 4 holes, cutting the provided front bracket slightly and was not that bad to get it to work. I wish I had indexed the console slight more passenger. My hand when reaching down to pull the brake handle is a little tight on the console side.

Is your center console the one from Wild Horses? and was it tough to fab a bracket to keep your rear heater? This is the exact set up I'm looking for and you kept the rear heater.

I was able to modify the brackets included and only added a 8in length of Alu 1in square tube to support the console.
I haven’t needed to beef it up. It’s held up well.

Got some 70 series parts in this week to see if they would work for the door cards and locker switch. Handles are front handles from mid eighties 70 series front doors. I'm not sure that they will work with the 60 doors without modifications. That's going to be a bit down the road until I make...

Not sure if you guys have an equivalent in the states but this is a Waeco wcf11 which is a proper fridge freezer. They are around $400au and I've been fitting them to every landcruiser build I've done.
Fits 11 cans (can't remember how many litres) and has the 2 drinks holders at the front.
If you are interested I can upload some pics of it installed (I did have pics in my threads but got screwed by photobucket).

Looks clean. What console is that?
It’s a Smitty Built. I made a template out of cardboard to make sure the holes all line up. I put dynamat on the inside and covered it up with a cheap vinyl wrap. It doesn’t rattle around driving around. It’s a good height for an arm rest to.
