Hey guys! Good news! I still have a little swag left so I'm bringing it with me. Yay! Free stuff!

I am looking forward to seeing these light bars.

Sam, if you talk to 2000UZJ you will find they aren't that unreasonable for the quality that they build. WAY cheaper than the Rigid, etc. type bars.

I'll talk to him when we get up there. I'm about to undertake a pretty big upgrade on the mini so I'm saving my pennies for that right now. Spring swap, doubler, and a couple other things after this run. I also don't really have anywhere to mount a light bar right now. I'm still running bumperless. It's def on the list though.

I hear ya. They build them by hand and test run them to burn them in. They are much brighter than most of the retail options. I am absolutely impressed with their harnesses and quality.

Cool. I'll def check yours out when we get up there.

Well, a few last minute fixes and I think I'm good to go. Found out someone had cross threaded one of the bolts holding the passenger seat in (bucket seats out of who-knows-what, installed with some raggedy brackets). We got the old one out finally and I went and picked up a heavy grade one with some washers and a lock nut from Lowe's. So, my passenger seat is now safe. :D

I wish I had some light bars to bring up to you guys to get your hands on. Thanks for the kind words Dan, I'm glad you enjoy the light bar. When I get the steel end caps and mounts I can swing by and swap them out for you. I'm making these light bars fully upgradable so your never left with the "old" style.

Anyways, talk about that at camp Friday or whenever. I have some developments that I need taken care of. I have done a long travel on the 100, I had Brian fab up some spring retainers. They work perfectly in every possible way, except one fell off on I-75 and went into the front of a car...so if I do go off road my springs will simply fall out. I have the other one in the back seat since I was afraid of it coming off too and potentially going through a windshield (these things are BEEFY!). I don't have time to swing by ACC nor the money to get another one made. Any body have some scrap steel we can drill a hole through, cut, and bolt onto my bottom spring perch Friday? Or anybody drill a 3/4" hole in a 6" long by 3" wide piece of steel? I only need one, and can provide beer, a bag of potato chips, or some pocket lint.

I plan on rolling out Friday afternoon, if anybody is heading through Atlanta/Sandy Springs shoot me a PM.

Hey Nick. I'm sure we can bring something that will work. Shoot me a PM or call me and I'll see if we can get something for you.

Well got my parts today, so after trick-or-treating tonight I will be working on the rearend to try and get it together and back in the 80.

Work has been killing me this week and I haven't even started getting ready or packing.

Random question, is anyone bringing a chainsaw? I can bring mine if we need one for firewood duty and/or clearing.

I have a saw as well if it is needed.

I may be rolling in Friday afternoon around 3 or 4-ish hopefully. I am honestly not sure what I am doing this weekend. I'll post up Thursday morning with final decision. This will be the first trail run for the newest version of the light bars, Dan and I will be lighting up the entire place as he is the only vehicle outside of the test vehicles with one mounted :)

Nick

We definitely need to chat around the fire Friday night! I've been exploring lighting options and want to check Dan's out.

Work has me jammed tight through Friday, so it makes no sense to bomb up there from Mobile late Friday and then drive all the way back down here early Sunday morning. So I'm bowing out. Ya'll have fun, I'm gonna miss ya'll!

Most everything is packed. Need to pick up my interior tire mount from LILRICK at UPS in the morning, install and mount spare Run a couple of errands and get on the road trying to beat Cincinnati and Lexington evening traffic. Should be there by 8-9pm tommorrow.
:bounce:

Looks like my truck is done enough to wheel (and finally share pics):

It wouldn't hurt for someone to bring a saw. For GSMTR they said not to bring firewood. I'm not sure if that rule is still in effect but there is a trail not far from the pavilion where we can harvest wood if needed.

Unless somebody tells me otherwise I will plan on throwing my saw in the back. We won't be in until later on Friday evening.

Trick-or-treating ran long so I am going to be pressed to get everything back together but I got confidence it will all come together.

That tease looks really good Dan. Cannot wait to see the rest of it.
