97 LX (front axle). I removed both bolts, the sensor will rotate, tried to pry up with a screwdriver and it sounded like the plastic wanted to crack. Tips, tricks, anybody.

Haven't done it this way myself (mine came out easy from above) but with the spindle off you should be able with your fingers or a tool help push it up from the inside of the knuckle while pulling or twisting it with the other hand gently from above?? Some ABS sensors have broken when pulled out, maybe stuck due to dirt and rust??

Anybody else had an issue removing the sensor. I assume it's just the two bolts from the top that hold it in. The FSM basically just says "remove the ABS sensor", as if there is no trick to it.

Yep, just the bolt holds it in. Mine came out (both sides with no issue).

2 bolts and lift, very easy. Now if your plastic is cracking, you may try to put a flathead under there and pry gently. It also helps to remove any grime/grease if they are caked on
