Wow! Pretty sure my flail mower without a guard is safer than that thing. I did appreciate the guy's "safety" visor, though his approach to wood cutting efficiency did not quite add up for me..........

j mack thanks for finding that video, if i hadnt seen it with my own eyes i dont think i would have believed that such a thing was ever sold.
judging from the fabrication techniques of his custom jack stands i'm pretty sure safety was not a high priority.

It is safer than I imagined. I didn't realize it was threaded and pulled the wood in to it. I thought you had push the wood yourself and impale your chest ever few tries.

I recall seeing a PTO driven wood splitter for Pigs - it used the output to the rear of the Pig. Anyone else recall seeing that?
