Oh I see now, I thought they were 2 extra struts...
So they don’t extend... mmm how is your experience in modify the fiberglass in the place where those bars mount? Do you think will be duable?
How is your roof with strong wind? (noise, sturdiness, etc?)

I didn't modify anything except for the shape of the fabric and I got longer struts. Trakka installed the bar and I couldn't lengthen or shorten it or the top wouldn't close correctly.
You're going to be limited to a triangular shape because you don't have the support bar, which is fine. The hinges are a more simple and better support than a bar that has 4 mounting points that could fail. You have a sturdier setup probably and a taller rear space.

I used strong struts and it seems to hold up fine in the wind. I like it.

I’ll probably put longer struts too and keep it in an angle... with solar panels on top is more likely to get sun in the morning which is when il be sleeping...
