Why in the world would I get one of those? Only "cool" guys like you do that sort of thing.
I'm a little closer and I've been mentally willing the 100 degree ABQ weather to the north too.

I will be driving down to Silverton from Denver early Wednesday the 24th. Probably stop in Gunnison for a bite to eat.
We are leaving morning ish Tuesday from San Diego and staying the night in Flagstaff. But we are towing the 100 so I'm not sure anyone would want to go out with us ha.
Created a Swap Meet thread in the Events forum. Hopefully, this one doesn't get kicked too.

And for us old curmudgeons that don't use Tweetergram, we'll just have to settle for updates here on MUD, or have lots of suspenseful days until arriving in Silverton.

We'll get a "LIVE FROM HIH9" post going on MUD. @woody or @e9999 usually "sticky" it for us during the event.

Denver to Silverton
I used to lead a pre-event overnighter enroute to HIH via Red Cone/Webster Pass and Owl Creek Pass with camping near Silverjack Reservoir. I may be doing this again this year but as of now, I plan on leaving on Sunday or Monday. I'm usually waiting on a few last minute HIH things to arrive before I leave so I won't be able to finalize this run until next week. This is a laid back stroll to HIH.
Red Cone/Webster may not be open, so that may not be an option. Owl Creek Pass is one of my favorite roads in Colorado and the camp location is pretty sweet. Red Cone has a few semi-challenging spots and I'd recommend sliders and 33s at a minimum. No trailers, but there is a place to leave a trailer and come back to get it as we exit. Owl Creek is just a dirt road but the views and area are awesome. True Grit was filmed along that route and the Duke himself spent a lot of time there. We'll camp along the middle fork of the Cimarron river and near Silverjack Reservoir. The river is shallow (1-2ft) and holds rainbows. Silverjack holds rainbows, brookies and browns.

I need the windshield wiper linkage! Actually all I need is the stupid bushing that holds the motor ball into the linkage arm. I cannot source that plastic bushing anywhere and the only way to get it is to buy the entire linkage from Toyota.
I’m already on the road but I can ask Duc nicely if he can remove it from my truck.

My A/C is fixed! Have a few more last minute repairs and hopefully we'll be on the road in less than 48 hours!
