95 4runner no start

Hi All,
I bought a 1995 4Runner last year with the 3.0 V-6. It ran fine when I bought it. Parked it for a couple months then went to start it and nothing....

It has battery power (headlights on) ignition buzzer, dash lights, but when you turn the key there is nothing. No click, no turning over etc... I've looked at fuses, fusible links, and the like and nothing seems wrong.

Any ideas?

hot to starter? Or ground? Or frozen starter?

Have somebody turn the key and hold it while you tap the starter.

Going to try the tapping trick tomorrow. The only thing strange is that I hear nothing at the starter / solenoid area when the key is turned. Usually you can hear a slight ticking when the solenoid is hung up.

It may be very stuck or a rodent got up there and chewed through some wires.

Get a test light and check your power source and ground too.
