If they actually put this into a kit, it is basically exactly what I have.

They are using a 58mm journal bearing turbo I am using a 57mm ball bearing
They are using air to water just like my setup including the same intercooler (which is too small IMO)
They are using 550cc injectors just like I used
Same fuel pump I used

If this setup actually works with that ECU, it is a very drivable setup and should sell very well! I would back it down from the 18psi they show in the video for daily driving. I have run mine at 19-20psi, but I daily it around 14-16psi.

MMM BB turbo
How do you find 550cc with this set up? To me those power numbers are quite good, but I wonder if the injectors would run at a DC higher than ideal.

Injectors work well. Around 90% IDC at max. If you were going to run a flex fuel setup or something you would need more but on pump they are just fine.

Hi

A very interesting post. I have a 97 cruiser and I have installed twin turbo on my truck. It is Mitsubishi TD04hl. If maintain a boost below 0.5 - 0.6 bar you do not have to change the ecu. You will have to change the fuel pump and add a regulator. Adjust the idle pressure to about 3.5 bar.

I get boost at 1800 rpm. The truck feels alive. I recon you should add a engine oil temp and water temp gauge. Use the best engin oil that you can get. Also change to the best gear oil you can get.

Have fun.

Welcome to mud Kishen .....these folks love pictures ;) especially with a first post like that.

Twin turbo being installed

YES! Wow, looks like the downpipes are gonna be a chore

Well, just to clarify this is true for most people outside the US, but in the US, OBDII makes it a little more restrictive. I know the Aussie guys have it easy and can just toss on a turbo.

I got a custom build manifold and down pipe. A custom exhaust. All stainless steel. I installed a top mount inter cooler. No mods to ecu and the injectors.

Top mount inter cooler is not a good idea in Thailand as the temperature goes to 38dec C. I did install a 12' fan to suck air. It does help but not much.

Will post pictures soon
