been on the forum on and off over the last couple of years, previously I had an LJ78 landcruiser that i did a few engine mods on, most notably the Holset HE200 turbo Conversion. I have a post in the forum about that. Since completing my apprenticeship as a diesel mechanic, i decided to have a crack at Youtube. I have just uploaded my first video, doing front pads and hub seals on my LN130 Surf if you had time to watch and give me some feed back i'd really appreciate it, at the time of writing this it has 0 views! .
If you're not mechanically inclined, and are wanting to learn more about basic repairs on you're vehicle as well as upgrades, i'd be open to doing how to videos and offering written advice on the forum.
My current mods are on the surf;
EGR delete, vsv and throttle plates removed.
Transgo Gear command valve body shift kit
Chinese Snorkel
2" lifts, dobinsons springs and monroe shocks with adjusted torsion bars.
Inline transcooler
2.5" dump pipe back exhaust
Next on the menu is;
32" mud tyres
GFB Dforce boost controller with integrated EGT
Turbosmart fuel cut defender
Intercooler (top mount or watercooled still deciding)
Engine rebuild and either trans overhaul or manual conversion.
