I'm in the final stages of parting out my '89 FJ62 donor vehicle. I'm keeping all but the body shell itself (will probably sell the doors and hood later). The windshield is cracked. The tailgate is dented beyond repair, same with the passenger side quarter panel. So there's not much left, but what's there is rust-free - good for cutting out sheet metal patches (drivers side quarter panel, pillars, roof, and rocker panels). I'm working on a deal to sell the frame in Albuquerque, so need to find someone around north-central New Mexico that could use the body, otherwise it'll go to a scrap yard in Santa Fe or Albuquerque.

I have not lived in Albuquerque since 1990 so imagine it has changed alot! Are 60s rare in your state? it rains here in seattle and water is like acid to the frames and bodies of these trucks. I wonder what shipping would cost if it was transported here? BTW where are the pictures?

I can post some photos tomorrow for anyone who might be interested. There are a lot of FJ60s and FJ62s in the state, most of them I see are in Santa Fe. So many that some refer to Santa Fe as the Land Cruiser wagon capital of the world. I did see one yesterday down near the Plaza, so my streak of sightings is unbroken. But the FJ62 I saw had California plates, they must have been in town for the annual Indian Market.

Any interest? I'm willing to cut this up as a last resort, but would rather find someone who could use the whole thing.

I wish you weren't on the other side of the country.

Photos coming tomorrow. My Plan B is to drop the body shell off with Brandon at Classic Cruisers in Salida, CO, if he'll take it.

More photos tomorrow. The passenger side quarter panel has pretty significant body damage, but the drivers side is good. So is the firewall, rockers, pillars, windshield frame, floor, rear wheel wells (inside). and roof. Really no rust except where there's body damage.

Here are a few photos that show the overall vehicle, the blue one is my '86 FJ60 project vehicle. Also firewall and rear cargo floor details.
