What vehicle is your "project"? Why do you want/need to retain the FJ40 hubs?

Warn hubs suck. Go with the AISINs, much better.

hey man i have a 87 zuki samurai! i originaly bought the fjs for it then got the mini trucks for it i just thought the fjs warn hubs might be better sounds like a better name "warn" lol but the asian hubs are better really? ok thanks man

i dont know if the hubs off the cruiser will bolt to your truck axles. do you have hubs on the truck axles now?

count the splines, measure the inner body and dog. then you will know if they will work. or just bolt it on and try it.

do not use warn hubs. you may as well use old socks as a drive shaft if you run warn hubs.

He has a huge advantage that this is only a Sammi, those things are really cool but they weigh nothing. Installing stock Toyota mini axles F&R is a big upgrade, I doubt you will need Longs. Try it and see if they pop, then upgrade if necessary.

The Sammi drivetrain is actually really sweet, it's a divorced t-case and there are tons of gearing choices for them. The engine is too weak to break anything.

This is why you should pass on the Warn hubs. An AISIN hub will never do this:

Moot point boys. The 1972 FJ40 birfields are probably course splined and those Warns won't work with mini-truck birfields. Unless of course the birfields have been changed out, and even then the lengths are different.
