Hi guys i have currently got a 1997 1hz turbo diesel landcruiser and for the life of me i cant find the TPS cable??? (throttle position sensor) does it even have one? Installing a turbosmart blow off valve and need to wire the BOV controller and solenoid to the TPS as there is obviously no vacuum etc? Anyone have any experience with this kind of stuff?

BOV on a diesel donkey. Im not sure you need it but cant really tell you why, time for the Guru's to please chime in.

It's not usual to fit a BOV to a turbo diesel.
A turbo diesel is on boost most of the time, and has no throttle in the intake.
The purpose of a BOV is to relieve boost pressure in the intake tract when the throttle body closes so the turbo is not suddenly pushing air against a closed throttle body butterfly.

No throttle body on a diesel means no point for a BOV, unless you want your car to sound like it has hay fever
