Just bought a 95’ project
200k miles
I got a custom license plate that says “GLOCK35” (our Rubicon JK is Glock22, my chevytruck is Glock 34..... I like Glocks) so I guess it’s name is Glock 35. 🤷🏽‍♂️
My plans are currently getting it mechanically sound, then I will be lifting it 4-6”, putting 37” Maxxis tires, a tent.....all the trendy stuff. Outside is pretty straight, inside looks better than most I looked at, low miles, and it’s a land cruiser. I’m surrounded by Jeeps and broncos, but I’ve loved the FJ80’s ever since my wealthy friend let Me drive hers back in 92’. It was time to step up.

Just fyi, I recently put a 4" dobinson lift kit on with the heavy spring option, slee radius arms, extended brake lines and tom tom woods front DC shaft. The dobinson 4" lift gave me with simulated added weight ( to simulate bumpers and sliders ordered) a 6.5" to 7" lift. My center of hub to fender flare was between 6.5" to 6 75". From rear top panhard mounting bolt to bottom bolt measurement is 7". Hope this helps. The slee radius arms put my front pinion at +6.5degrees.

That's interesting to hear. I have recently noticed that the Dobinson 4" "looks" a lot more than 4".

Just picked up my second 80 locally. Older lady owned it for 20 years and took it to surf in town here.
