Anyone know where I can find a clean shell? Thinking about taking FrankenDigger back to stock.
I'm not looking to spend any money, so cheap to free is my range. I'll nit-pick the shell too, so be ready.

Would love to find nice manual cloth seats,

I found minesez on car-part.com
Pretty cheap too. Onliest issue with that site is, that every location has a unique owner and they're own rules. Some will pick and ship, some will not touch a part until you show up. Then some will not let you go in their yard unsupervised, etc, etc, etc. It's not Pull-A-Part, and you may need to travel. But I've found MUCH needed parts from this site...
My cloth's came from there:

And one different location told me they had just ONE good door but had the entire vehicle. I could not fathom this description. But I went anyway because I NEEDED that one door...

But needless to say, they got what you need and good prices...

PERFECT MATCH!!

I got a lot of my recent rebuild parts through www.car-parts.com. Found a seller in south GA (McCarty Auto Parts) that had a wrecked FJC and bought drive shafts, tcase, front diff from them. It was best to call them on the phone, once I knew they had a vehicle on the lot. They shipped everything on a pallet and was a damn good deal. Parts were cleaned up pretty well too - looked like they hit the tcase with a pressure washer.

Damn, I've bought whole rigs for less, and no pictures....

PLURAL! Whole rigs... PLURAL!

I was about to say "I suppose I'll buy every 80 I see for sale..." but I've already done that.

Finally got the 80 I've been looking for. It is a triple locked 97 with 175k miles. It has the OME stock height heavy kit and 295/75-16 Terra Grapplers. I've got a used Kaymar rear swing out bumper to put on and plan on doing the DNP mandated running board delete. It even has the 3D printed cup holders.

I believe the stock height springs and the lift springs use the same OME shocks...so cheaper to lift than if acquired with stock suspension.

I can't believe how high prices have climbed since I sold my 97.

Thanks man. I'm going to see how it sits after I put the bumper on the back but will have to look into those.

Springs are cheap and easy but the spacers are even cheaper and easier.

When bumper going on?

Not sure when I will get the bumper on. Really depends on how hard the install is. My next few weekends are prett booked so will have to slip it in an hour or two at a time.

If I remember correctly I used a set of Bilstein 4600's on that truck. I'm not a big fan of the OME Nitro-Sports, there are way better options out there for the same money.

OME Nitrocharger Sport shocks suck ass! There, I said it!

You can either use them or weld steel bars in their place. Either way, you'll get the same results.
