80-Series Engine work needed - Shop Recommendations in BC, Canada

Hi everyone,

As the title suggests I'm in need of some engine work on my Lx450, specifically a short-block rebuild (bottom end, rings, head work, etc.). Anyone have shop recommendations around Vancouver, BC? I've reached out to Bond Mechanical in Burnaby and TorFab down in Washington State but I want to make sure there isn't anyone I'm missing. Torfab would be ideal but I'll be paying $$ with the USD/CAD exchange rate and duties at the border.

Any recommendations are appreciated!

Well,
I did ship my son's hdj81 from Vancouver to Edmonton for a fair price. Shop rate Vancouver =$200.00/hrs vs Edmonton @$100.00/hr.
Had the A442F fully hydraulic tranny rebuilt, and some other work while it was there.
Used 4wheelauto ask for Dan.
If Dan cannot do the work, he will know someone who can.

Go into the club section and look for "coastal cruisers", lower mainland club primarily and those guys might be able to recommend someone.
