80 Series Chrome Rims

TITLE SHOULD READ LX CHROME WHEELS. I posting this to see if there is any more interest in me breaking up my set of LX chrome rims. I have had a couple of people show interest in buying 1 rim in order to have a matching spare rim (chrome package only chromed 4 rims and left the spare unchromed ). This set is an extra set for me and I would not mind breaking it up if I can find 4 takers. I don't want to be left with 1, 2 or 3 left. I will sell them for $75 each plus shipping (if applicable). Never been off roaded, no rock rash. Not perfect but still nice. No flaking.

$75 for each rim

BTW I only have 2 chrome center caps..so first 2 buyers who want them will get them.

I need at least 2 (maybe 3) more people to make this happen.

Works for me, we are going to try another snow run at the end of Jan sometime. Maybe we can handle it then (hopfully we can both go on the run). If not we can work something out.

2 down, 2 to go. I have a few maybes waiting on pics to see the LX groove.

OK...so I must apologize for acting on a whim so quickly. There has been a much higher demand than I anticipated. So here is what I have to do to get these ready to ship:
1. take 285's tires off my Land Cruiser rims and mount to the black steelies waiting in my garage.
2. take the michelins off the chrome rims and mount them to the now empty LC rims.
3. Box up the chrome rims and ship them off to you guys.

This idea to do this just came about yesterday when I saw blue's thread and I honestly posted before I really thought it out. I am not sure when I will have time to have all this (might be early Jan. if that is ok) Then again I might have time to do it this Sunday...don' know for sure though.

As of right now these are the people I have down:
Bluetribal - 1 rim and center cap local pick up/meet
Jamisobe - maybe 1 rim and center cap shipped to TX
Firetruck41- 1 rim shipped to WA
Mueller - 1 rim shipped to MN

Let me know what you all think about the situation. I can be as patient as you can and will try to have the rims avail. by next week if possible.

I just took the pics this morning before heading out. They are on my 80 now and I did not clean them. I will clean them before shipping to you guys.

the last two show the minor flaws in the insides of the wheels. there is no flaking or rust just these small pits. I just want to make sure that they are represented accuratly.

Those wheels look pretty much the same as mine, with the same imperfections.

I am going to be rotating my tires next month, so I really don't care if it takes you 'til mid January to ship.

I am in no particular hurry as well. With the holidays coming up I do not need the rim any time in the near future if it is too much work.

Sometime in Jan would be fine with me.

I couldn't believe when I looked under my truck and saw that the spare rim was not crome!!!! What the heck?

I heard the SSTs wear quickly but handle great.

I am bummed to hear that they wear quickly but of course I didn't hear that till' after I bought them.

But maybe the 5 tire rotation will help with that and as of right now I LOVE them.... I will post another review after a snow board trip to Mammoth Mtn.

Smitty, I am out of the running for a rim. I am going to be stubborn and hope that a chrome LC rim without the groove will come around.

If you don't end up finding a fourth to take the last rim let me know in a few weeks and I will probably take it then.
