Our power distribution block.

Dash just about wrapped up.

Nice PDM

If it wasn’t we would install the upper glove box for double glove boxes.

Thanks…
I was under the impression (obviously incorrectly) that the ones with airbags wouldn’t have the grab handle. Thanks for the clarification.

Hundreds of configurations worldwide.

I love the power distribution block. Such a simple thing, yet so effective. I have fuses all over my engine bay from installers, who technically did the job, but didn’t think about the customer beyond that. I’m now having to hire a quality auto electrician to bring order to things. Great work as always Ian.

Doors and flares are out right now for some paint work.

Switch to control the screen in the gauge cluster.

Power distribution block location, yes you can get at it and open it to change fuses.

Fuel filters.

Power steering cooler, didn’t feel the need for anything large but it needed something better than a paper clip.

A/C lines and cap on the compressor finished up. 😋🤙

We will wrap the lines here near the turbo and exhaust to finish it off.

It’s funny, when we start these “wide nose” conversions and builds we are always like, “look at all that room in the engine bay”!

By builds end it’s all gone!

Catch can plumbing done.

IMG_1436.jpeg

We left room around the catch can to be able to reach in and pull the basin to dump.

IMG_1437.jpeg

HDJ79 (1HDFTE) OEM Toyota fuel filters fitted, primary and secondary, 12mm in and out on them as well to suit our fuel system plumbing upgrades. Mounting bracket we built.

IMG_1438.jpeg

Wilwood brake proportioning valve since we are not running an LSPV. Booster is an upgraded dual diaphragm from PDI in Australia.

Got to find a spot in the engine bay for this! Care to guess what it is for?

My first guess would be an "end point" for the breather lines? 🤔 Very nice work Ian... as per yuge, love the attention to detail.

That is it, breather manifold.

.

Great Job!

Please could you tell me, if you have the Part# of this "HDJ79 (1HDFTE) OEM Toyota fuel filters fitted, primary and secondary"???

Thank you.

Exhaust mock up done, we got a v-band near the back for quick removal for any “serious” off-roading.

I got to say in all my years of chasing parts all over the world assembling this dash from scratch in LHD has been a monumental task!

IMG_1562.jpeg

We had pretty much nothing to start with besides the original LHD HZJ79 wiring harnesses which in itself was monumental because building-assembling one from scratch is 🤯 task few could do.

Anyways we didn’t have to source the wiring, just every single other part! It all came from at least four different countries if not five, took more than a year to source it all new and import but it is a done deal! 🤩🤌

Stoked 😋

Cheers
