I like how when you stand at either side of the front you get “Yota” or “Toyo”. 🤷‍♂️😋

Lights are kind of floppy right now due to not being finalized but we did build our mount system in the pockets on the bumper to be configured various ways. So you can mount a 3rd light or different lights in here. Change the spread, angles, ect.

Certainly not a lot of rear leg room in the back seat with the Scheelmann far back.

I tried using 1” 3/16’s wall dom for the poles to keep them not so bulky. They are just not stout enough and bend to much so a new pole design is in the works. In the past I have used 1.25” dom for this so that’s what we have moved up to in size.

We are currently finishing up the hammock poles and the bumpers.

The rear bumper was about 85-90% done but needs a few things yet that we are working on now. Front bumper was done other than hammock poles which we are finishing right now. Pics of all that to come but our goal here is to finish them up 100% front/rear and get them out for powder coat. Sliders needed one leg customized at the exhaust dump, that’s done now and the sliders are out for powder coating.

The owner just got plates, reg and insurance so we are wanting to hit the streets soon and start breaking in the new FTE! 😋

So front bumper just got a few things to finish it off like this lip added along the bottom edge.

Also added a gusset between the hammock sockets and the side protection bars. Welded up the light tabs on center bar. Cleaned it all up and got it ready for powder coat.

Working on final things for the rear bumper, pics to come.

Lucky owner…”one of one” and the best one out there. Absolutely beautiful and functional.

Rear bumper details.

Stainless plate here

The OEM jerrycan kind of messed up our locking can cover. I think this is my solution since it allows using two or putting it either front/rear. I think we will also change the chain setup on the cap.

Decided to change it up here on the latching area.

IMG_2601.webp

This is a piece of solid 1” 304 stainless that is going to bolt in here vs the welded in we had.

IMG_2604.webp

I am doing this so we don’t have a problem with powder coat getting chipped off easily. The stainless will all just stay raw.

This is the front edge of the wings on the rear bumper. Where it meets the fender flares and mud flap, upside down on the bench. We took the edge back a bit for more clearance on both of those and then capped it.

We have the last section of exhaust out at the moment so you can see to do any “serious” off-roading you would want to pull this section of the exhaust and the rear mud flaps.
