79-83 transfer skid

I have a 1981 pickup and I am looking for a transfer case crossmember/skidplate. Ive done alot of searching and have not been able to find one. I really just want to replace the stock crossmember with a low profile one for a little more clearance. I have found plenty for dual cases but I only run a single setup. If anyone has any ideas please chime in. Thanks

I have a budbuilt on my daily driver. The cool thing about Bud is he will build you whatever you want. I went with a single case 2" lift but ended up lowering it 3/4" so as to avoid having to modify the "horseshoe" crossmember. You can safely go with 1" of tcase lift with no body lift needed.

That transfercase lift sounds cool. I have an Old Man Emu lift on my truck now. Will I have to get into drive shaft modification if I raise the case? Not really wanting to go that far.

I did not have to do anything to my drivelines, but your milage may vary.

I also have OME springs, and a custom BudBuilt (1st Generation model, I helped him bend it!) with a 1" drivetrain lift. Having a hi-pinion diff in the front helps.
