The radiator had to be moved back and down .

That's some very impressive work there!

While there are some questions I'd ask, like why a 1KZ-TE, and why not just stick with a split case instead of all that work to put on an orion, and then put on a disk parking brake, I've got to say that you are doing some really impressive work.

Is that a freshly rebuilt 1KZ-TE I see there? Very cool.

This is one of the steering hose adapters . I don't have a photo of the other . There are two sizes , earls only had one , I got the other from ebay . Parking brake I made .

These are wilwood calipers . I destroyed my drum brake :bang: and could not find a replacement for less than $900 . I really liked the drum brake but this was cheap and works great .

Found this relay-fuse box on ebay . It is out of a freightliner . It has 15 each 35 amp relays and a ton of fuses . The connectors were on ebay , too from a different source . My gauge pod .

Looks really good! Nice fab skills! I really liked my 1KZ-TE in my old Surf, the bigger exhaust should help with getting heat out of the head.

Had to shorten the thermo housing . Had clearance issues here , so I rewelded the radiator outlet angled up , and got a metal hose that can be formed .

These woodward u joints are a work of art . I got the one that is splined for toyota on one side , and 3/4" woodward spline on the other , another one that is 3/4" spline on both ends , and they have weld on 3/4" splined ends to make a shaft and weld to steering collumn . You can't see it very good , but in order to keep the crankshaft center line exactly the same , the power steering pump is very close to the frame . I had to modify the suction port on the pump and point it straight up to the reservoir .

I couldn't find any other diesel engine to buy . I already had the orion , but I would rather have a split case , but after you buy a low gear set , it is very expensive . My labor is free on the machining . I destroyed my drum parking brake . Long story , but it worked very well . I wish I still had it . The 1kz is almost completely rebuilt . It is pretty much new condition now .
