Was this one of your normally vivid dreams or were you running a fever at the time?:clap::clap:

"There has been much tragedy in my life; at least half of it actually happened." Mark Twain

I've had encounters like that in the South

LoL...I have a whole "bag" of these. I call them "The Kingwood Chronicles. Mostly parables, stories, anecdotes, adventures and legends of little renown. Remind me to tell you about "One night at the Eagles Club", "Granny taught me to shoot"...Or, one of my all time favorites, "Old Blue".

I have one leg shorter than the other from walking on the side of these hollowed hills, I embrace the people, the places and the things that make up this peculiar landscape. It's my home, for all that's good and all that's bad..

But, I can say with certainty, I'll never look at a french fry quite the same..;)

Planning this weekends work and I wanted to ask the distinguished forum a question. In the photo below I have highlighted pieces of "cork" That I uncovered while removing bed-liner. Is this a factory "fix" or a PO field expedient "plug(s)"? Thanks!!

LoL I had a sneaky suspicion...But you have to admit it is a novel approach....

JohnnyC I am 125 miles from my manual. What went there? Anything?

Had a little time to kill so I thought I would clean up my front heater and duct. I did not "restore" the unit, but the clean-up included a re-foam for functionality. Stage 1..

Stage 4..Re-foamed, re-assembled.

Dis-assembly, cleaning, re-foam, re-assemble process took about 2 hrs...

Picked-up some 1/8" closed cell foam for about $7 including postage for the foam re-furb..

Headed to Florida for some sunning ops and vitamin D upload. I'll tackle the blower motor next weekend.

Before and after...

Are you leaving Fred with a 'to do list' :)

Thanks JohhnyC. I am looking forward to a little R&R. Giving my "star pupil" a well deserved break too.

Idle hands are the devils playground. I headed over to the "garage" this afternoon. Managed a few odds and ends.

Primed the tranny cover and test fit...
