Hey guys, there are literally dozens of combinations of springs (light, medium, heavy, heavy constant for both front and rear) that can be assembled for the FJ55. It is true that 'most' use the middle option which is heavy (not heavy constant options) but we base all that on the anticipated loads when we go through a build sheet with the customer. It's proven to be a great functioning setup with very minimal mods (hour or less to move the perches and totally reversible). Thanks for the kind worlds chevurai, glad to hear your loving it.
The rear springs are on back-order, simply a factor of increased sales both for the 55 and 75 platforms in the US as more and more make it stateside with the 25 year rule. We have a bunch coming and if someone is in a HUGE hurry and is willing to pay a few extra bucks, we can likely accommodate a rush shipment by using the heavier springs (which by pulling a leaf makes the same thing).
