Wanted '75-'84 FJ40 vent window hardware

Hello,

I need the hardware for the lower part of the non-US 40 series front door vent windows. I need the tensioner springs and limiters which attach to the bottom of the vent window inside the door. These are the items which are held in by the 10mm nut; you can only see them with the assembly out of the door. One is a conical spring, the other is a coma-shaped disc which prevents the vent window opening into the forward door pillar.

You could probably fab the coma shaped piece from some 1/8” stock. The spring might be a similar size to the springs in the base of late model door mirrors.

Those look like pre-'75 vents. Does anyone know whether the springs/ limiters are the same? If so, that's exactly the hardware I need. Thank you @bmoonhajjar

That's my plan if I can't find the factory parts. I don't think they'd be too hard to fab, but it's one less thing to make if I can find them.

I like that idea about the mirror springs.....
