'73 FJ40 Heater Restoration Foam (1 Viewer)

Has anyone sourced the foam necessary to restore a '73 FJ40 Heater. SOR has a kit for $26.

I searched through Ih8mud and didnt find anything. There has got to be a good source of foam, that does not cost $26.

Yes, there was a piece big enough for the door.

I tried to source my own foam and didn’t have much luck. Ended up buying the $OR kit and wasn’t impressed . If I do it again I’ll look harder for the foam sheets.

I used some window air conditioner foam filter material for the thin stuff.

What I used, guess it's more expensive than their kit lol but you get more product and probably higher quality

For the precut foam pieces, try Parts puzzle, ( ebay). their kit is a bit pricy but excellent pieces and foam.
saves lots of time
