bsmith.. i'm pretty sure I have an extra throttle peddle and assembly.. but i don't have the linkage..
i even have an extra #65 you can have.. let me get back to you though

the 2f! and a seasonal greeting!

Here's the 2f

Looking it over its obvious I need a manual all those vacuum line! sheesh! I ordered one so hopefully it'll be here this week. She'd sporting a new rear main seal and nothing else is leaking. Looks like the PO busted a bolt off in the water pump but that should be easy. On hold for the manual for getting it running.

Filled up the clutch MC and bled it and presto the thing works! I am leaving for my trip at the end of the week so I may not be posting over the next month. If I have contacted you about a part dont worry I'll be in touch as soon as I get back---going overseas and I am not sure about internet access where I an going.

Next Job--clean up the garage for while I am gone otherwise the wife'll kill me if she cant get her bike out!

First pic shows the transfer case saver--piece of cake to install 6 bolts thats it!

Got my winch and winch bumper! Now I have to travel on business for a month-bummer
Today i turned over the engine but no spark from the coil, still it's good to be at this stage.

I'll have to sort out the ignition after my trip :bang::bang::bang:

and I even got a can of gas hoping to maybe fire up the 2f today, oh well!

Joe TLC bumper

The bumper is 89 bucks from joe TLC not as nice as some IE no shackles but it's something to hang my new winch on and money is beginning to be an issue on this build---as on every other build I am sure:):)

I got my Olive Drab too! but now I have to go away on business for a month!:crybaby::crybaby:

I didnt get any shots from the front yet cause I just shot a few quick ones for one last post before I travel:cheers:

Actually it dont look bad--I may shorten it a tad to look more like the HFS

shortened bumper

Actually when I got it--it was already shorter and looks pretty good I've got it off till I finish the engine work though

Just got back from a 5 week trip so after a couple of days of jet lag it is back to work

i put the MAF header on and it went pretty well a little pain getting the bolts in, but thats any header install. the big prob is that the rest of the exh system does not fit seems to be because of the location of the crossmember --- I already painted the exhaust so cant return it so I will need to sort it out somehow

cleaned up and painted the intake with the exhaust VHT paint also. a couple of busted bolts but everything went well otherwise

love the headers I want some. Where do I get some that will work with my PTO shaft?

headers and PTO

not sure about the PTO, I changed to the 4 speed and no longer have mine. The headers take up a fair bit of room because of the collectors.

I managed to score a WARN 8274 over the Thanksgiving weekend!

Sold my Harbor Freight cheapo winch for $200, then only out another $250 for the WARN winch.

Trying to sell the 31x10.50 Super Swampers/steel rims to make up the difference.

Still waiting to see your Olive Drab paint!

winch

wow the winch was a score for $250! great deal. I was happy to pay double that

As I get along in the build I have more and more parts to sell when all is said and done.

Thanks to some advice from pin head today I got my ignition sparking and that felt great. It looks like all I need now is to get the desmog done and carb built and should be able to crank her again!

The other goody I got with the headers was a liquid heat riser since I will be operating in a colder climate soon. Kinda neat how it works --it is a plate that goes where the exh used to heat up the bottom of the intake manifold and it has two fittings for water from the radiator to circulate through and warm it up. pretty cool idea:)

Hopefully the green is on the way soon but I am sure christmas will get in the way---bah humbug! Just an excuse to take a man away from his cruiser once a year, ha ha!

BSmith I intend on keeping the 3 speed until I manage to make the 3speed T-case work with the 4 speed so I can retain the PTO
