To the best of my knowledge, front 56.2", rear 55.6"

Should be exactly the same as a 40. (wms that is)

rear perches are about 3/4" wide from a 40 series, easy fix to inboard them.

A friend recently transplanted 60 series steering on a fj45 and used 70 series linkage as a direct bolt up. Steering box fits nicely behind the bib.

Upgrading to these axles will give all benefits of later model and common steering/braking stuff.

GLWS

I installed a pair of cable locked 70 series units in my 45. I'm happy with them so far. Very good price on these axles. They ought to sell pretty quickly. GLWS!

buyers, fine spline pinions, modern superior brakes, width identical to 40/55 series.

Why anyone would keep 7/80 and earlier axles over these I can't understand.

no affiliation, just can't understand why they have not sold.

Front axle is setup for LHD steering. Thx.

Deposit taken. Axles sold, pending full payment.:beer:
