P.S. You know you could make even better progress if you didn't TIG weld EVERYTHING on the truck?.. :hmm: :lol:
THANK YOU. Yeah the TIG is slow but I’d never done it prior to this build. Part of the goal was building skills. And any weld just about beats the factory ones from 68’ good grief. They look like they were done in a Friday afternoon by someone who’d been drinking on the job

Here’s a better shot of how we married the bed after shortening it. Inside cut eliminated the need to splice the horizontal bed surface. Pretty slick
