That bumper looks nice. Man I would hate to see the tub on that 69 get cut up. :crybaby:It looks really clean. I would cut up the other one rather than the blue one. That blue one looks like a barn find or something.

From a distance it is OK.. but lots of rust and the PO scabbed quite a bit of metal and bondo on it.. The red tub is almost rust free and will be tyhre base of my build with the other for donor metal and parts..

A couple of items arrived today.

1) set of NON- LC .. BUT yota euro mirrors, Will adapt these to the doors. Both sets (half and regular)
2) Trollhole electric dizzy, like new.

Shot some epoxy primer on the block, pulleys and covers. Need one more coat for sure. Maybe this weekend. I have a 7 day window to reshoot before having to scuff it again.

Then lay down the base and clear coat.

What are those mirrors off of?

You have some crazy metal skills, been following a few of your threads on mud. Definitely looking forward to your future updates!

Got a couple boxes of goodies..

Seats, spear, fan shroud and air cleaner.

I will fab a new ring/hat adapter to tie into either the 2F OEM Aisin, Trollhole or Weber Carb. Haven't decided which route to go yet, but the TH is in the lead so far...

@Mace ... the wife came out and sat in the seats... She wants them to stay, They are in really good shape. Only the DS bottom needs recovered. If she changes her mind I'll let you know for your person.

Boxed up an order and decided to get busy on stripping down the red 40... while waiting on the freight carrier.

Its DOWN! WOOHOO!

Was surprised at how easy it came apart... Frame is in really good shape. Need to make some repairs from the PO cutting torch fiasco!. But, oither than that... It should be ready to strip, blast, cut and stretch, paint and start building back up SOON!

Well I woke up this morning torn between the cut and stretch and making this into a modded 40 truck or just going back to a regular 40... I think I will prep the frame and start sanding down the body parts. Hopefully by then I will know what route I plan on going.. If the body parts are as clean as I think they are it will be tough to chop the red tub up.. The green cruiser has a few parts I can use but, for the most part it is scrap.

INDECISION SUCKS!
