There is also a missing pin from the lever that automaticially switched into 4WD when pulled to engage low range by catching the washer behind the knob. Then the chain with the pin to lock the lever.

I don't think the picture is the OP's rig. But in any case, yes, there are missing parts on that T-case lever.
