Back on topic ...

Had a new windshield put in yesterday. Went with the non-chrome strip version. Sure is nice not to have to look through all the cracks and bullet holes anymore.

More importantly, hopefully this stops the leaks that end up in my floorboards!

Wish I could find a Kaymar rear for my 60

This thing is so clean, straight, and original, I'm going to take it back to as bone-stock condition as I can.

Even though someone spent some time and money converting the interior cloth to leather (yes, not vinyl), I'm thinking I want to return it to the correct cloth interior. "Original never goes out of style." I'm starting to run across some of the parts (and I have some of them from the 62 I parted - RIP), but if anyone knows of some nice, grey seats and/or door panels and/or cargo panels, please let me know.

Carpet's on the way........

Awesome DNP so glad that beauty stayed in town.

What’s the history? Miles? Any major maintenance been done?
Yeah, it seems to be a VERY original, unmolested truck.

Originally a California truck. The folks I bought it from bought it in 2012 (locally). They put 30k miles on it in the last 6 years. Has zero rust and a very few minor imperfections. Mainly, everything is there and hasn't been fooled with (mechanically, that is. Looks like it's been painted at some point in the past). Because it IS so otherwise stock, my plan is to put some OEM wheels back on it, put new carpet in it, and if I can find all of the parts, I want to return the interior to OEM cloth.....just because.

Other than the pimp leather what else are you missing inside?
Really, nothing. The "high-end" Toyota AM/FM/Cassette isn't powering up right now, but I'm betting I can get that working......

Maybe you should take on the project of having the OEM seat pattern material brought back to life! That would fit well with the carpet bidness

I was thinking that someone came pretty close, but now I can’t remember who that was.

Glad you bought this 62 DNP. Thanks for keeping it local.
Please provide a drool drop cloth when you have meetings at your shop.

So jealous!

I thought about that when I was pulling together the carpet project, but I'm not sure how much demand there'd be for interior material. Driver's seat mainly, but all the rest should stay good for most people. Plus, the ranges are a lot shorter for cloth (81-90 for carpet, but 81-86, and 87-90 for cloth designs)
