DNP got it right on the letters out on a Classic!

anyone here come up with a good way to shield some heat off an engine harness or other wire bundle? I've posted a similar thread over on the TN club, but good ideas come from many sources. Anyway I have a 1986 FJ60 with a 5.7 vortec v8. The engine harness is setup similar to the way it ran in the donor GM pickup/suv. Main wire bundle comes from the distributor area and runs across the driver side valve cover over to the driver side fender well where it plugs into the ECM mounted on the fender-well. Along this patch the wire bundle crosses over the drivers side exhaust manifold where its exposed to some fairly strong radiated heat. I'm looking to shield or otherwise reduce exposure of the main engine harness to the radiated heat of the exhaust manifold. I'll post a pic showing the harness when I was working on it the other day chasing around a wiring problem and I had the heat sheild off the ECM and the loom off the harness.

concerned about the main harness and the other components that are in close proximity to the drivers side exhaust manifold that radiates a lot of heat. While I've been screwing with the dist issue lately I need to do something about mitigating the radiated heat exposure to the wire harness. What you don't see here is that I have a home made heat shield that fits over the ECM and fuse block, but I need to protect the wireing as noted. I've started the hunt on the web with looking at summit and heatshieldproducts.com
