Limb risers in Arizona...this one is getting interesting :D

That 60 series bar looks like it is costing you several inches of clearance out on the edges, or is that just camera angle?

We dont just have blank desert and random tall cacti here. The last trail I ran on Mingus Mountain in Northern AZ wound up with me being all up in the branches . (The tent didnt help...lol)

Yea, I know, just kidding you. Canyon type trails can be nasty for juniper pine, etc.

Hmm, I have 3 on the side and 2 on top on each side.....

So 10.

The frames between the 62 and FJ80's aren't that similar are they? And the extension of that question would be what is the difference between the frame horns of the FJ80 and the FZJ 80? If there is no difference between the FJ80 and the FZJ80 frame horns and the 60 series bull bars fit.... then why does ARB specify a difference?

Doc, no one answered your FJ80 vs FZJ80 question so i will... In my experience and from what I hear... the frame horns are exact, but there is one bolt hole on the top of each respective frame horm that is barely off. I don't know why but it is. I could not add all the bolts to my Slee bumper. I could have bored out the hole but never got around to it, and now don't have it.

Just to be clear, since I am looking at an ARB for a 60 now, does the bumper need to be modified to fit an 80 series or will it bolt up (10 of 12 bolts)???

I think looks kinda cool tho i would say it hangs lower then the 80 arb does by a few inches tho i think i like the smaller look not as huge

DAMN!

I just got a call back, he said he sold the bumper already... :(

I asked him about it and he said it was originally on an 88, and he ended up putting it on a 92 LC. I asked if he had to do anything like drill holes, cut, etc....and he said, no it just bolted right up.

I have a 60 series ARB that I just finished repainting and it doesn't fit on the frame horns without cutting and drilling the side holes. I thought I would post this up for anyone else who was thinking about going this route. I was hoping that CodyRx7 could post up some close up pictures of the modified bumper, around the frame horns, so that I could see how they did it. I assume the easiest way would be to cut off the bottom mounting flange and drill the 3 side holes. The only issue I see, is that the 80 series frame horns are about 4 1/4" high and the 60 series ARB bumper allows up to 3 7/8". It does not appear to be a "simple" way to spread the ARB the necessary 5/8" without causing problems, but hope Cody's pictures will solve this mystery.

I modified one to fit on my 96, and you're right--the frame horns are too tall. I ended up cutting the bottom off the bumper that slides over the frame horns and welding on some new steel. I also chose to weld on some wings to wrap around the sides. It was fun and I only paid $150 for the bumper, but with my speed of fabrication I would have been ahead by buying the 80 series bumper. Still, I was able to choose how close to tuck the bumper in and so I like the way it turned out better than the 80 series that sticks out farther than mine. I can shoot some pics if you pm me.
