Pics! I assume they're the Baja Boss? Haven't found anything else in that size.
Will post some soon! Need to have a few adjustments made on Monday... shop that installed my suspension messed some stuff up. Ugh. But yeah baja boss! They seem great!

Quick pic on the 255/85s after sorting coilover settings today.

Looks great

Now that ive adjusted coilovers and redone alignment, literally zero rubbing.
When you had the alignment done, did you have them push the caster forward? One of the little tricks to help with rubbing.

Yep, Total Chaos UCAs + taken into account in the alignment. The shop that installed the suspension and did alignment originally did some very wonky stuff... Took it to a Jeep-centric shop closer to my house and they knocked it out of the park.

Bringing this thread back from the dead.

I'm getting ready to go up a tire size. Currently running 34x10.5R17 KO2s which are listed at 33.5x10.5 as per TireRack but measure around 32.5" mounted on my truck at 38 PSI.

Sizes being considered for the next set are 285/75/17 (33.9x11.3 as per Toyo) and 35x11.5R17 (34.5x11.4 as per Toyo).

A few questions for those who have run 35"s:
  • What is the general consensus on the best offset wheel to run? Will 0 offset clear the UCAs? Trying to not end up with too much poke as I like the tires being flush under the fenders and I don't want to have to trim or hammer or cut anything that's not necessary, as tends to come with the territory of running negative offset wheels.
  • Anyone with Ironman UCAs know if they allow for enough caster to actually run 35"s?
  • Anything else you wish you knew prior to mounting the 35"s on the GX?

I'm currently running 315/70R17 KO3's and I get a little rubbing at lock-to-lock going in/out of driveways or flat.
For me, the Goldilocks size were the 285/75R17 KO2's. No rubbing anywhere, street or trail and better gas mileage than the 315/70's.
I'm going back to those after my current 315/70's are done.
Hope this helps.

I am looking at getting 255/85R17 Mickey Thompsons. They are popular here.

Where is the rubbing? Firewall, frame, body mount?

A lot of people seem to really like those.
