I figured someone, who's been into this for as long as you have, would know by now NOT to add it up. ;) Still cheaper than therapy...

Nick

I never will on the LV, but the plan was always to sell the swb. I don't know what it's worth, but I need to know how much I'm gonna lose on it.

You don't have to lose money on it, Todd. When you get tired of driving it and need the shop space, just loan it to me for a while and when you get the itch for it back I'll even personally deliver it to your shop. :D

Wired and mounted the tail lights. Wired the headlights and brights, although I do need to get a new floor switch. Wired the front turn signals. The left one has power through the base of the socket, but lost it somewhere between there and the end of the ground wire. I suspect where te ground is attached to the socket is corroded.

Getting through the list.

Mounted the dimmer switch and wired it.
Finished the transmission crossmember.
Got the exhaust all nice and tight to the header.
Got the fenders lined up much better.
Found some clamps for the relay rod ends and got that all installed. I think the steering is all done
Fixed the brake lights, although I only have a right side light. Weird since the turn signals work on both sides. At least something happens when I step on the pedal.
Built a pair of radiator stays and got them installed. Made them out of 3/8 solid rod. Got to play blacksmith heating them up and flattening the ends with a sledge and an anvil.
Welded in the battery tray
Got the rear shackles cleaned up and all together. I think the suspension is all done.
Mounted the side view mirror. Can't find a rear view. I had a couple of them. I must have put them someplace safe.

Nice! About time to register.

Didn't drive home today. It's dropping out of third and stalling. Two different problems I'm sure. No time to mess with it today. I'll figure it out tomorrow. It's not charging any more either. Power to the alternator. Alternator musta puked.

Today I:
Mounted the bed
Installed the tail gate hinges, chains, plate bracket and plate light with the tail gate.
Installed the new plate.
Installed the drivers seat belt. I need to round up a passenger one
Test fitted a head ache rack, but took it back out.
Welded up the passenger seat frame and installed the frame and seat.
Installed the bumperettes
welded in the fuel filler mount in the bed and installed the door.

Todd -- That looks awesome!

I was actually out by the shop the other day... drove by hoping to see some cruiser work being done, but it was locked down like Fort Knox.

Maybe another time. Keep up the hard work...

Bad ass good sir. Looks absolutly awesome.

Jealous! Looks great....

Got a ways to go. Gotta do all the body work on the bed and tie up a lot of things.

Took it for a drive to Jersey Mikes this evening.

Has a bit of a speed wobble. The motor is way too fast for the suspension. Alternator still isnt working, although it was really hot when I was hooking up the battery charger when I got home.

Really need another seat belt

Got to go through the crappy wiring diagram and figure some things out. I have no power for the running lights in the front for instance.

I got a couple of 3 LED marker lights in the mail yesterday. My previous attempt at making a shorty bib light failed. This looks like it might work. I need a short light on the driver side to clear the scout PS box.

I cut the bulb socket off. The black stuff is RTV from the other bulb. If I hog out the back to 3/4 the grommet on the light should seal it right up.

Edit - it did seal perfectly with the grommet.
