Well I just got word somebody just stole my cruiser.... Hope the guy will pay me tomorrow. Should be a new thread up soon on a familiar truck. Sad to see her go, excited about the 100 and seeing what Mardis does with the 40

Anybody got Visors for a 40. I won them at the crawl last year and gave them away. The same year I won the pink guitar.
I have some old ones from a 76.

Very nice fleet you have there Mike.

40, 62, 100, & 200

You need an 80 and a 55!

Thanks. I was hoping to keep them in the 8's. 2008, 1998, 1988, but had to get a 76 instead of a 78. I sure do miss the 100. Was hard to look at it. I love the 40. Smells like my Grandad's old Willis and drives like his Ford tractor that I had to walk down Raymond Road more than a few times.

Mike you have visors in back. They need new material but you coud duct tape them for a quick fix. Box of bolts should have some 10 mms for them.

Just wait. It's exponentially worse when you sell a 40, unless you didn't own yours long enough to bond? At least you weren't home when it left, and you know it's going to a good home.

When I picked up The Turtle, the seller and his wife and 5 year old son stood in the driveway watching as I drove away. He looked like his dog had just died. His wife and son were crying. Last thing I heard was the son saying "Daddy, why is that man taking our twuck?"

I only had my 100 for about a year before I was forced into a company car and Spivey became the new owner. I still miss it each and every time I get into a non-LC!

No....we bonded. I did a new starter.n fuel pump, hoses, dui, paint job (rattle can), hfs bumper and on and on

I can only stand it bc
1 I'm headed to beach
2 mike will take care of it, has kids who will love it, and has $$$$ to do more than I could
3 I bought and love my 100 and can focus on it
4 I have in writing that my wife is ok with another 40 and probably one for my daiughter is she wants it (in 14 years....ha)

This 40 was not a perfect (rust etc) and I want to go big $ and buy a real good truck that I can drive without body, electrical work bc I can't do either.

Definite regrets Lee but atleast I'm not cruiserless and learned a lot on this first one. CLC helped me a lot as my learning curve was steeeeepp

I have just the truck for ya. Buy this one. It's down the street from me. I'd be honored to deliver it to your casa at no charge. It even has a cool wooden console, a real conversation piece. :D
