Man, that looks awesome! Are you due for new tires, so that's why you're asking about changing to bigger rims at the same time? Otherwise, I'd keep that combo. Looks great!
Thank you. That's what it looks like after a 7 month rebuild, and I still don't have it all back together yet. Whenever it's in one piece and has new shoes, I'll bring it to the Cherokee, along with some bootleg craft beers.
On the tires, the sidewalls of both DS tires were buggered up in last year's roll over, and the PS tires have major cracking despite only having 5K miles. Insurance paid for the two damaged tires. The tires came from Costco, and I think they'll replace the cracked tires at no charge, or reimburse me. If I have to buy all new tires, I may as well go up to 16" or 17"--more options, and they're cheaper.
Speaking of tires, Todd's friend Mark Algazy swears the best size tire for an old school skinny look is 235x85-16, equivalent to a 32x950. That may be what I end up with.
