Make sure you put a small air cleaner on the valve cover vent. Often overlooked and thus sucks right into the motor

Yeah. That header is fine. Get a Remflex gasket. They are key.

Torque to Remflex spec.
I’ll bet it’s the front signals not grounding.
Very common. Pull face off blinker. Run a fresh wire to the metal housing with a self tapper. Fish it out the hollow stem With other two wires.
Ground it separate.
I also always run a fresh ground wire from battery to the body as well.
And make sure the exhaust exits

That sounds like the going rate to ceramic coat, but will look good for a long time and it won't scratch off during installation.
VHT header paint (get it at AutoZone) is cheap. 25% chance it will crack and peel when you fire it up. 100 percent chance you will scratch it up installing
1000* paint and haul ass.
Wrap it with header wrap if you want to lower temps
