Pulled driveshaft and opened drum and the xfer case is draining out of it?!?

Is that just the seal between the two? That's a new seal...

Naw man, that seal is a bitch. Happens all the time. There is a method. My brain is gone or I would tell you. Very common.

T-case isn't hard to pull if you really need to. Most of the bolts are accessible from outside but 2 (I think) have to be removed inside the long cover plate. Then you need to make a sort of puller to separate it. I think I can find the one I made years ago if you decide to pull it. I would sure try another seal first though.
